Implementing Energy Saving Opportunities Newsletter No. 08
Your business case should be aligned with stated business objectives and policies.
Give consideration to the broader organisational context and how your project aligns with the overall organisational objectives, structure, and policy framework.
Relating your business case to strategic considerations will help define the business need and underline the value of the investment to your organisation.
For instance, if one of your corporate objectives is to maximise efficiency or to minimise your environmental impact, then making the link is relatively straightforward.
But you can also link energy efficiency to broader objectives, e.g. by stressing competitive advantage that being more efficient can bring, the fact that it can help you by minimising costs, demonstrate innovation or make a positive social contribution.
In our next newsletter we will discuss: Mitigating Energy Project Risks
Our national team of energy engineers are ready to undertake the design, implementation, monitoring, and financing of identified energy reduction measures on your behalf. Please contact us to register your interest.
